The Eaton Sofa combines sleek, modern design with a nod to the historic Knole arm feature. The adjustable arms, a hallmark of the Knole style, were originally created in the 17th century to provide privacy and comfort in grand homes and royal settings. The arms could be lowered or raised and secured with simple fabric loops or decorative tiebacks, symbolizing prestige and luxury. 

In the Eaton design, this historical influence is reimagined with contemporary elegance, while maintaining the Knole arm’s distinctive function and aesthetic. This timeless feature, along with the option for contrast piping, adds both boldness and versatility to the Eaton sofa, making it suitable for both traditional and modern interiors.
