Shipping policy

This document sets out the shipping policy that applies to customers that make a purchase at New England Design.

Shipping Options & Delivery Costs

Express delivery 

Mainland UK only 

Delivery costs are automatically calculated at check out. 

All orders placed before 12PM Monday to Friday on pre-made products are processed and dispatched the within 1-3 days.

All orders placed during the weekend or on a public holiday will be sent from our warehouse on Monday or on the next business day.

Pallet Delivery

Delivery costs are automatically calculated at check out. 

Mainland UK only

All orders placed before 12PM Monday to Friday on pre-made products are processed and dispatched the within 4-5 days.

All items will be shipped on a Pallet and delivered to the curbside only.

We must be provided with a contact telephone number for the person who will recieve the item/s onsite. 

Monday - Friday delivery between 9am -5pm only

If you wish to have a selected day for delivery or prefer a specific time, extra charges will apply.

Any damage that occurs in transit must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the goods.

Large Item deliveries

Before delivery day, we’d recommend making sure the path you’ve chosen for delivery is clear of any obstructions, valuables or fragile items that could be damaged during your sofa installation. This will speed up the process and avoid any potential accidental damage that could occur.

Large item deliveries will be organised via email or phone with client to choose a suitable date.

Available Monday - Friday only

Any damage or defects in the item must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the goods.

Whilst our sofas generally fit through standard sized door frames, to ensure that your sofa purchase can be delivered, we advise that you carefully check the dimensions of your chosen sofa. Should you have any concerns about fitting your sofa through any doors, hallways, stairways, lifts or surrounding areas, please call us on 01706 371 711 . If you wish to discuss sofa options to accommodate modern living spaces, our range includes configurable and modular pieces that split down, at an extra cost, to suit your needs. Please discuss with your sales advisor. 

If the item/s are unable to access the selected room,we either leave items in a alternative room or return items to us and then further any redelivery attempts will incur a extra charge.

Delivery Address & P.O. Boxes

Please note that we are unable to modify the delivery address once you have placed your order. We are sorry but we do not ship to P.O. boxes.
