A Fresh Start: Rebuilding Our Community on Facebook

For years, our Facebook page was more than just a social media profile; it was a digital scrapbook of every transformation that left our Littleborough workshop. From worn-out heirlooms to modern sofas in need of a facelift, we loved sharing those "before and after" moments with our community. It was a space where we felt truly connected, reaching a milestone of over 2,500 followers who cheered on our craftsmanship and shared their own home journeys with us.

However, as many small business owners know, the digital world can be unpredictable. Recently, we found ourselves locked in a frustrating battle with technical glitches and administrative "black holes" that left us completely shut out of our own page. We spent weeks navigating a maze of support tickets and automated replies, but eventually, we had to face a tough reality: our old page, and the community of 2,500 people we spent years building, was gone.

It was incredibly disheartening to watch that number drop from thousands to zero overnight. But rather than fighting a losing battle with a broken system, we’ve decided to do what we do best—take something worn out and give it a brand-new life. New England Design is officially back on Facebook with a fresh new page!

Starting from scratch is a mountain to climb. As we write this, we have just over 100 followers, and while that’s a long way from where we were, every single one of those new follows means the world to us. It represents the first few steps of rebuilding our digital home and reconnecting with the people who make our work so rewarding. We’re looking at this as a silver lining—a chance to be more responsive, share higher-quality updates, and start a new chapter with the same dedication we’ve had since 1985.
